SETI (Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence) Institute formed a team of scientists, researchers, and even artists to work on the project. The lead artist behind the project, Daniela de Paulis, explained how receiving an alien message from beyond would bring out an intellectual transformation of humankind. According to a statement given by ATA Project Scientist Dr. Wael Farah, this experiment will be an opportunity for the world to know how the SETI community will work together, and how receiving, processing, and analyzing the data sent from Mars will help us get a clearer picture of the potential alien signals to come. He also added that with the A Sign in Space project, they hope to bring a diverse community together to solve this challenge.
