His second directorial venture was the 2019 psychological horror film Us starring Lupita Nyong’o. The critically acclaimed movie is considered one of the best horror movies of the 21st century and grossed around $255 million worldwide against a budget of $20 million. Jordan Peele’s latest movie, the 2022 science horror fiction Nope, also achieved high praise from audiences, making him a director not to miss.

While appearing on The Today Show, Peele spoke about his craft, and how being Black has influenced his entire artistic journey.
