Police Call Family to Tell Them Their Husky Is Sitting on Their Roof

If you’ve ever owned a husky, you know they are curious breeds. They love to explore the yard, nibble on shoes… and get up on roofs. Wait, what? Yes, an interesting thing happened to Cheryl Ramsay and her husband Paul from Prince Edward Island, Canada, when police officers called them to inform them they had a husky sitting on their roof.

Fortunately, it was their own!

It All Started with an Open Window

While Cheryl was cleaning the house one day, she opened the bedroom window to let some fresh air in, and enchanted by the pretty view outside, she completely forgot to close it. She left the house to run some errands with her husband when his phone rang. It was the cops. They asked Paul to confirm his address, and whether he had a dog. After he did, the policeman told him Nala (the dog) was just chilling on the roof. He even sent pics as proof!

It All Ended Well

The couple couldn’t believe the situation, but it was all confirmed once they arrived back home to see Nala still on the roof with the policemen and some bystanders standing around her. The adventurous husky just jumped back into the window when she saw her owners returned as if nothing had ever happened. Such a husky thing to do!

Meet Nala, the Roof-Loving Husky

Nala is a 17 month-old Siberian husky, and according to Cheryl, “she is very loving and very smart.” She is also very much like a person with a very distinct personality. If Nala was human, she’d be someone who is playful, needy, jealous, and loves attention. She can also be like a goldfish, says Cheryl, “one second she wants in, then out, and in.” That certainly explains how she ended up on the roof!
